Inter Await 'Right Offer' For Perisic
Inter Milan will play Ivan Perisic on their pre-season tour of Asia with Manchester United yet to make "the right offer" for him.
Sky Sports News reported earlier in the week that United and Inter were close to agreeing a fee for the Croatia winger, who the Serie A club want £48m for.
Their hard-line stance on that price appears to have been maintained, with no deal completed before they left for China, and Perisic now seems likely to play for the Nerazzurri on their tour, which also includes games in Singapore.
Inter director Walter Sabatini said: "You all know what Inter is asking for him but the right offer is yet to arrive."
Perisic is one of United boss Jose Mourinho's remaining key targets, following on from the two big-money deals he has already completed for Benfica defender Victor Lindelof and Everton striker Romelu Lukaku.
But the fee remains a sticking point between the two clubs in what have turned into protracted negotiations, and Inter want to make sure Perisic is fit if he has to start the 2017-18 season in Italy.
Inter face German side Schalke on Friday and then take on Lyon and Bayern Munich in the International Champions Cup before a date with Premier League club Chelsea in Singapore on July 29.
And, on Thursday, when asked about utilising the 28-year-old during their tour, Inter boss Luciano Spalletti said: "Perisic will play because he wasn't involved in the friendly games in Brunico - he may even play more than the others."
