Your Tour Briefing: Celebs And A New Captain

It's been a busy few days on Tour 2017, presented by Aon, so far and Tuesday was no exception. Here's your quickfire recap for day two in the United States...

1: CAPTAIN CARRICK

Following Wayne Rooney's departure on Sunday, the skipper's armband has now gone to the former vice-captain Michael Carrick on a permanent basis. "It feels great and it is such a huge honour to captain such a great club," he told MUTV. "I have grown to love the club over the years and to be in this position is very special for me.”

2: FAMOUS FACES MEET REDS

Jose Mourinho and his players had a visit from some familiar and famous faces during training at UCLA. Game of Thrones stars Iain Glen and Conleth Hill, who play Jorah Mormont and Varys, watched Monday's session and on Tuesday the Pretty Woman herself, Julia Roberts, stopped by to watch the lads in action and posed for a few photos, one of which an excited Juan Mata tweeted. Back at the hotel in Beverly Hills, former Red and MUTV pundit Bojan Djordjic bumped into Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson who later tweeted about #MUTour.

3: ANDREAS' AIM

Andreas Pereira is delighted to be back amongst the squad following his loan period at Granada and determined to play a part in United's quest for more silverware in the coming season. The 21-year-old spoke to MUTV as he walked onto the training pitch at UCLA on Tuesday and declared: "I am very happy that I am back, and I can be part of this team. I will try to do my best to stay here, get an important role for the season, help my team-mates and impress the manager."

4: STREAM MUTV.COM NOW

MUTV is now available for fans in the UK and Ireland via a brilliant new streaming service mutv.com. The service can be watched online via desktop, tablet and mobile and the best thing is you don't need a satellite subscription for it. And of course you can watch all the Tour 2017 games live on the service. Check it out now.

5: CRUISING AROUND LA

The United legends enjoyed a tour of Los Angeles on Tuesday with the Griffith Observatory being the highlight. Bryan Robson, Mikael Silvestre, David May, Denis Irwin and Bojan Djordjic jumped on an open-top bus around the city and stopped off at the Observatory, Rodeo Drive and the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Look out for photos and video from the trip on mutv.com soon.
