Victor Learning From World's Best Manager

Victor Lindelof says, in his Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho, he is learning from "the best in the world".

The Reds defender sat down with United Review earlier this week to look ahead to Saturday's clash with Brighton at Old Trafford. During his exclusive interview, he discussed how much he is enjoying working under Mourinho.

"He’s a very good coach, in my opinion the best in the world, and for me to be able to work with him is a pleasure," the Swede told United Review.

"All of the staff and coaches as well, they are great and I am learning a lot from them. I’m just trying to do my best to work hard every day and listen to them because they know a lot about football, so it’s about listening and learning."

Lindelof was part of the United side which secured a 4-1 win over Newcastle last time out at the Theatre of Dreams and, with matches coming thick and fast as we count down to Christmas, the 23-year-old says every member of the squad has an important part to play.

"The games are the most fun part of football," he declared. "Training is fun also, but you play football to play the games, that’s the best part of it. We have a lot of games coming up and we have to be focused on the recovery between games so that the body can be 100 per cent ready.

"We have a very good squad with a lot of depth and good players. We’ve made a good start in every competition, now we just want to keep on going and do our best."
