Mourinho: I am 100 per cent United

Jose Mourinho insists he will not celebrate emotionally if his team pick up three points at in-form Chelsea on Saturday, even if he is now “100 per cent Manchester United.”

On this latest return to his old club, the boss says he will treat the fixture like any other, regardless of his personal history with the Blues.

It is a key clash for the Reds, on the back of the thrilling comeback against Newcastle United and the international break, with Saturday's hosts being seven points ahead, with the same 20-point tally as leaders Manchester City and third-placed Liverpool.

“For me, it's another game,” he said at his pre-match press conference.

“Would I celebrate like crazy, my team's goal at Stamford Bridge or my team's victory at Stamford Bridge? I don't think so.

”I think I would try always to control myself and to respect the stadium and the supporters who were my supporters and [what was] my stadium for many years.“

“So I think that I would always think about where I am, which stadium I am [in], which crowd is in the stands, but just that. Apart from that, it is just another match for me. It is a match that I want to do well in, for my players, my team, for my supporters - that's what I want.

”I am 100 per cent Manchester United tomorrow [Saturday], but there is no space for anything more than respect for the stadium and for the fans that were my fans before.“
