DATES FOR YOUR DIARY FOR THE REMAINDER OF 2020

A clearer picture is emerging of the proposed schedule for Manchester United's 2020/21 season.

Although our campaign only finished at the weekend, things will soon be under way again as the authorities deal with the issues facing the world since the outbreak of COVID-19.

Of course, all of the plans are subject to change and progress in any of the competitions is not assured for the Reds, but fans may be interested to see how the shell of the first part of the campaign is looking before 2020 is out.

With the Premier League fixtures now released, obviously without confirmed dates, this is the current outlook for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and his team...

SEPTEMBER

12: Premier League due to start this weekend. United to play Burnley (A) with the date TBC.
16: Likely Carabao Cup third-round draw.
19: Premier League - Crystal Palace (H)
22/23: Carabao Cup third-round.
26: Premier League - Brighton (A).
29/30: Carabao Cup fourth-round.

OCTOBER

1: Champions League group-stage draw in Athens.
3: Premier League - Tottenham (H).
5: International transfer window ends.
10: Internationals.
16: Domestic transfer window ends (allowing trades between Premier League and EFL clubs only).
17: Premier League - Newcastle (A).
20/21: Champions League.
24: Premier League - Chelsea (H).
27/28: Champions League.
31: Premier League - Arsenal (H).

NOVEMBER

3/4: Champions League.
