Jolin Tsai 'Dancing Diva World Tour' -- Review

This is definitely the most exciting concert of the year, at least for now.... .

Jolin Tsai's 'Dancing Diva World Tour' concert at the Singapore Indoor Stadium last night was a blast, it almost brought the roof down. The fans were thoroughly entertained by the Taiwanese singer energetic performance throughout the 150 minutes concert.

Jolin got the crowd going right from the start as she performed aerial gymnastics, afterwhich she sung a number of fast paced tracks before handling the stage over to boyband Energy, who was the special guest of her concert.

Energy did not disappoint either, as they mesmerized the audience with their dancing skills.

This was Jolin's second solo concert in Singapore, the last was in December 2004, in which she performed to a sellout crowd. This time, she did not disappoint, and instead went a notch higher with a much improved overall performance deserving of a diva tag.

One area where Jolin needs to work on is the interaction with the audience, which is solely lacking at times. But she did not worry though, as she makes it up by performing and dancing tirelessly all the way that one could be forgiven for thinking that they have arrived at a disco party instead of at a concert.

The crowd were totally immersed in the party spirit of the concert, me included. I was soon standing up and grooving along with the songs in which I have almost forgotten that I have brought my digital camera along. It was at the juncture in which Jolin announced that she will be singing her last song of the concert did I managed to whip it out of my bag and to take some photos to capture this truly fantastic concert of hers.

How about this, the last song of her concert was called 'Rewind' (Dao Dai). How I wished that time will go back to this fabulous concert over and over again. Definitely money will spent, definitely.

All hail the Dancing Diva, Jolin Tsai.
