FA Cup Derby For Reds

United have been drawn away to FA Cup holders Manchester City in this season's third round.

The sides will meet at the Etihad Stadium over the weekend of 7/8 January 2012.

It will be the ninth meeting between the two teams in the competition with United currently leading the way on five victories, compared to City's three.

The only time both sides have met in the Cup on City's patch came in the 1954/55 campaign when the Blues ran out 2-0 winners in the fourth round tie.

The last FA Cup clash between the pair was in last season's semi-final at Wembley which City won 1-0, before going on to beat Stoke City in the final.
