Amos Loan Extension Agreed
Manchester United have agreed to extend Ben Amos' loan spell with Carlisle United until 1 January 2014.
The goalkeeper has played four times for the Cumbrians since joining the League One outfit last month and has only suffered one defeat - the 3-1 reverse at Swindon Town on 30 November.
Carlisle manager Graham Kavanagh was keen to retain the England Under-21 international after Amos was ruled out of the FA Cup tie with Brentford. Greg Fleming played in goal instead in the 3-2 success that sets up a third-round date with Sunderland.
Tranmere Rovers are Carlisle's next opponents in a league fixture on Saturday at Brunton Park with Welsh forward Tom Lawrence, another United loanee, available for selection.
