Bebe Linked With Benfica Move
Manchester United forward Bebe has claimed it would be a 'great opportunity' to join Benfica after being linked with a move to the Portuguese champions.
Bebe has made just seven appearances for United since his surprise switch to Old Trafford four years ago and he has taken in loan spells at Besiktas, Rio Ave and Pacos de Ferreira.
He impressed last season during his loan at Pacos, and his form prompted speculation that Braga and Sporting Lisbon had shown an interest.
Benfica have now been linked with the 24-year-old, who is waiting to learn if he will be in new United manager Louis van Gaal’s plans next season.
Bebe is unsure if there is a genuine interest from Benfica, but would welcome the chance to play for last season’s Europa League runners-up.
"I think it would be a good opportunity for me," Bebe told Antena 1.
"I'll now wait for my agent to sort it out. If it's true or not, he will certainly know better than me.
"Of course, this would be a great opportunity for me. Maybe I could play more and they could count on me. I think it would be a unique opportunity."
