Herrera's Five United Legends

Ander Herrera picks five Manchester United legends who have inspired him...

My top five Reds legends... It's difficult to say because I didn't see the likes of Bobby Charlton and George Best play. They were big players for the club but I only feel I can talk about the players I have seen myself.

Ryan Giggs... The best one for me is Ryan Giggs, not only for the things he did on the pitch in matches, but for everything. Everyone has told me he was always a very good professional who always trained hard.

Paul Scholes... I loved Scholes' football style and all the players told me he was an unbelievable professional who always tried to improve in training every day.

Eric Cantona... He was a fantastic player and even now the fans still sing his name.

Cristiano Ronaldo... Ronaldo is an unbelievable player. He and Messi are the best in the world.

Wayne Rooney... I feel lucky to be able to play with Wayne. He is one of the best players in the world. He is so competitive in every game, it doesn’t what the game is, he always wants to win. When you see Wayne from outside the club, you might think he is a like superstar and he is but he is also someone who always wants to help you. I talk to him a lot and he is always there to help me. He is our captain and I'm proud of him because he is achieving lots of records for his club and country.
