Zaha Sold To Crystal Palace
Crystal Palace have re-signed winger Wilfried Zaha from Manchester United on a five-and-a-half year deal for an undisclosed fee.
Zaha has been playing on loan for Palace this season, the Eagles having sold him to United for £15m in January 2013, and has impressed recently appointed manager Alan Pardew.
Zaha made his debut for Palace back in 2010 after playing in the club’s academy sides since the age of 12.
In January 2013 he agreed to join Manchester United on a five-and-a-half year deal but was immediately loaned back to Palace for the remainder of the 2012/13 season.
Out of favour with United coach David Moyes last season, Zaha completed a loan move to Cardiff City in January 2014, before agreeing a season-long return to Selhurst Park last August.
It has now been confirmed that his move back to Palace will become a permanent switch and the 22-year-old told the club's website: "I wasn't getting much game time at Manchester United, so took the opportunity of coming back on loan this season.
"To now have the chance to make the move permanent and come home to Selhurst Park is something I'm delighted about.
"For me to be a better player I need to play more games and, having a gaffer that, I know, has great trust in me, gives me the confidence I need to help me improve my game.
"I started playing here when I was eight years of age and my family live locally. To have the opportunity to take the field in the Premier League for this club is a dream come true."
