Capital One Cup 4th Round Draw: Man. United Drawn Against Middlesbrough

Manchester United have been drawn against Middlesbrough in the fourth round of the Capital One Cup following Wednesday’s comfortable 3-0 victory over Ipswich Town at Old Trafford.

The Reds progressed in the competition thanks to goals from captain Wayne Rooney, the impressive Andreas Pereira and substitute Anthony Martial during Wednesday night's match under the floodlights.

Louis van Gaal’s men will now face Middlesbrough in the week commencing 26 October, just after the Manchester derby at home and before the trip to Crystal Palace in the Barclays Premier League. Tickets are already on sale for all supporters wishing to attend the cup tie.

"The most important thing is to play at home," the boss told MUTV. "Middlesbrough are also a top club in the Championship and it shall not be easy. You have to do it and everyone expects that but it shall not be easy."
