Blind: Every Game Is A Final

Daley Blind has called on his Manchester United team-mates to stick together and win every game to secure a top-four finish.

Louis van Gaal's side stuttered past Aston Villa on Saturday afternoon to close on neighbours and fourth-placed Manchester City.

There is also the scenario where a place in the top four may still not be enough if either City (Champions League) or Liverpool (Europa League) win their respective competitions. In that case, fourth spot would bring a Europa League berth.

Despite the uncertainty, Blind is determined to push their rivals every step of the way until the end of the season.

The 26-year-old Dutchman told the club's website: "Every game is very important now. We have to look at all of them as finals because they're all important.

"That's why we take things game by game and don't look too far forward.

"There are still a few games to play and some results will still be different to what you think. We have to focus on our ourselves and believe in ourselves. We will give everything we can between now and the end of the season.

"It's not in our own hands so we have to hope other results go our way, as well as making sure we do our job.

"The key thing is making sure you stick together, work hard and give everything, knowing you can't lose any points. We're all aware of that and we have to win every game."
