Schneiderlin Targets Regular Start At Old Trafford
Morgan Schneiderlin says he is keen to fight for a regular first-team spot at Manchester United next season.
The Frenchman has played 24 times in the Premier League for Louis van Gaal's side since his £25m transfer from Southampton last summer.
But the midfielder, capped 13 times by France at senior level, remains confident he can put a frustrating campaign behind him and return 'very, very strong' next season.
"I've done as the group has, some good and some less good matches, but it is sure that at Manchester United everything is different," Schneiderlin told L'Equipe. "A good match in Southampton can be viewed as bad in Manchester.
"When I signed for Manchester, I wanted to play every game, be performing all the time, so I'm not totally satisfied. I'm not unhappy, I'm not happy, I'm in the middle.
"But this is my first year, I am confident that I will return very, very strong next season."
Schneiderlin will be hopeful he can play a key role in United's remaining two games as they target a top-four finish before the FA Cup final against Crystal Palace on May 21.
