Van Gaal's Speech To Fans
Louis van Gaal paid tribute to the Manchester United fans when addressing the Old Trafford crowd following the final Barclays Premier League match of the 2015/16 season.
The Reds secured a comfortable 3-1 win in the rearranged fixture against Bournemouth thanks to a first-half goal from Wayne Rooney - the Man of the Match - and second-period strikes by Marcus Rashford and substitute Ashley Young.
After the final whistle, prior to the players completing a lap of appreciation, van Gaal thanked the United supporters for their "unconditional support" during this campaign and looked forward to the FA Cup final.
“I want to say something on behalf of my players, of my staff and of myself," the manager said on the PA system. "I want to thank you for your unconditional support.
"Wherever we have played, however things have gone on the field, you have never let us down. Thank you for that and we want to bring the FA Cup home to you. You deserve it. Thank you!”
