Derby In China Excites United Stars

Manchester United players are counting down to a first-ever derby meeting with Manchester City in China later this month and are determined to make it a memorable occasion for the club's fans in the country.

The Beijing National Stadium will stage the historic meeting of the local rivals on Monday 25 July; this will be the second match of Tour 2016, presented by Aon, following a clash with Borussia Dortmund on the preceding Friday.

Jesse Lingard told ManUtd.com: "The Manchester derby means near enough everything to me and all the lads. It matters so much to the fans too. Hopefully we can get a win."

Juan Mata agreed, adding: "The Manchester derby is a very special game. It’s always a great game to play in and very emotional, especially against Manchester City, it’s a match we always really enjoy."
