Mkhitaryan's Mission At United
Henrikh Mkhitaryan vowed to "find the strength to reach my goal" when asked about his determination to impress for Manchester United at a UNICEF event on Wednesday.
The Armenian, currently away with his country, made his first Reds appearance in almost two months and only his sixth since signing in the summer during last week's Europa League defeat at Fenerbahce.
Jose Mourinho believes Mkhitaryan can become a top player for United but said after the 2-1 defeat in Turkey that he "has to do more" to earn a regular starting place, and the man himself insists he will.
"It is true that I get little time on the field but I am not going to give in," Henrikh told reporters following an announcement that he has become a Goodwill Ambassador for UNICEF in his native Armenia.
"I went a long way to play in Manchester United so nothing will prevent me from achieving my dream," he continued. "I will not retreat, I will find the strength to reach my goal."
Mkhitaryan recently attended the United for UNICEF gala dinner at Old Trafford with his team-mates as the Reds helped raise £215,000 for the children's charity.
