Team News For Stoke Trip

Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho has delivered the latest team news to MUTV, ahead of Saturday's trip to Stoke City in the Premier League.

The Potters, managed by ex-United striker Mark Hughes, provide the opposition in the latest test for the in-form Reds and Mourinho has a strong squad to select from. Marcos Rojo and Zlatan Ibrahimovic returned to action for the 1-1 draw against Liverpool last time out. Eric Bailly remains unavailable, however, due to his participation in the Africa Cup of Nations with Ivory Coast.

"We are fine," the boss told MUTV, when asked about any injuries. "We have little problems, which is normal, but not [they are not] big issues. We have a very good situation."

Mourinho's men are out to make it 17 games unbeaten in all competitions, with the last defeat coming at Fenerbahce in the first game of November, although the manager is clear that statistic doesn't enter his thinking.

"I’m not worried with the unbeaten run," he insisted. "I don’t care about it. We are not going to play any match to try to be unbeaten for one more match, or to try to reach 18 or 20, not at all.

"We want to win matches, we try to win matches, we risk to win matches. If we lose, we lose, and we lose the unbeaten run. We are not going to Stoke to defend our unbeaten run - it’s a very nice run, I have to admit, but we are not going there to defend the record."
