Movie Review -- 300

Watched the movie, 300, yesterday and I have never enjoyed myself for a long time already. The show is exciting, with wonderful action scenes and excellent computer animations that gives this movie a comic book feel.

The plot of the movie is simple, but it has a meaning to it. No, I am not glorifying violence. What we can learn from the Spartans is that they were no cowards and are fighters. They fight for what they believed in and will never give up till they reached their goal, despite the insurmountable odds against them.

This is the movie to watch to get your adrenaline up and pumping.... .

Plot:

Based on the epic graphic novel by Frank Miller, "300" is a ferocious retelling of the ancient Battle of Thermopylae in which King Leonidas (Gerard Butler) and 300 Spartans fought to the death against Xerxes and his massive Persian army. Facing insurmountable odds, their valor and sacrifice inspire all of Greece to unite against their Persian enemy, drawing a line in the sand for democracy. The film brings Miller's (Sin City) acclaimed graphic novel to life by combining live action with virtual backgrounds that capture his distinct vision of this ancient historic tale.
