Preview 2013/14: March

Fixtures: 1 Man City H | 8 West Brom A | 15 Liverpool H | 22 West Ham A | 29 Villa H

First thought: United must capitalise on home advantage against City and Liverpool.

Toughest test: The Manchester derby at Old Trafford could be key to the title race. City have won the last two on the Reds' turf so David Moyes will be desperate to ensure fans leave the ground after his first home derby with smiles on their faces.

Subplot: Moyes' managerial record against Manchester City is astonishingly good. He's won seven and drawn one of his 10 meetings with the Blues since Sheikh Mansour's takeover in early 2008/09. The last of these, 2-0 on 16 March 2013, helped United go 15 points clear in the title race as the Reds defeated Reading 1-0 later that day.

Miles to travel: 581.

Last March: P3 W3 D0 L0 (United 4-0 Norwich, United 1-0 Reading, Sunderland 0-1 United)

Rival watch: Arsenal: Stoke A, Swansea H, Spurs A, Chelsea A, City H; Chelsea: United A, Spurs H, Villa A, Arsenal H, Palace A; Man City: United A, Villa H, Hull A, Fulham H, Arsenal A
