Fletcher Will Be Fit For Tour

Manchester United midfielder Darren Fletcher has recovered from a fractured toe sustained in the final Barclays Premier League game of the 2013/2014 season at Southampton.

The Scotland international suffered the injury during the draw at St Mary's, despite completing the full 90 minutes, but it has since healed and the 30-year-old is able to continue to keep fit over the summer.

Contrary to some reports, Fletcher will be ready for full training ahead of Tour 2014, presented by Aon, and will be out to impress new manager Louis van Gaal when he takes over the role after the World Cup.

The Reds fly out to the United States next month and kick off the pre-season campaign with a match against LA Galaxy in the Chevrolet FC Cup in Pasadena on 23 July.
