Niall: Rashford Complete United Striker

Marcus Rashford is already looking like "the complete Manchester United centre forward", according to Sky Sports pundit Niall Quinn.

Rashford produced yet another impressive display for Manchester United in their 3-1 win against Bournemouth at Old Trafford on Tuesday night, just a day after being named in Roy Hodgson's 26-man provisional squad for this summer's European championship in France.

The 18-year-old made it 2-0 to the home side by thumping in Antonio Valencia's cushioned header after 74 minutes, before being replaced to a standing ovation with 11 minutes remaining.

Rashford's strike against the Cherries was his fifth Premier League goal since making his debut for Louis van Gaal's side in a 3-2 home win against Arsenal in February, while he has also contributed two assists in those 11 top-flight games.

In total, he has scored eight times in 17 matches in all competitions for the Red Devils, form in front of goal that has drawn huge praise from former Arsenal, Manchester City, Sunderland and Republic of Ireland international forward Quinn.

"I just love watching him play," said Quinn. "He is just so intent on doing the right thing and being positive, using his skills, he is so flash."

And Quinn was particularly impressed with how the youngster took his second-half goal against Bournemouth.

"He drops deep and does not go chasing anything, he knows if there is a chance it will be headed back and it is a clinical finish," he said.

"There are so many strings to this guy's violin, he has got everything there. He can play any kind of a tune.

"He can have direct strikes at goal, he can lay off, he can do great one twos, he has got a pace on him, he can play on people's shoulders and he can head the ball.

"I mean, he is looking like he could be the complete Manchester United centre forward."

Meanwhile, Manchester United and England captain Wayne Rooney believes Rashford has a good chance of making it to Euro 2016 this summer.

"He's a young lad, but as you've seen again today he's scored a fantastic goal," he told Sky Sports after the game.

"He's got to work hard now in the next couple of weeks to try and convince Roy to take him. I'm sure if he does well with that then Roy will have no problems putting him in the 23."
